Bombshell: Donald Trump Jr Was in Direct Contact With Wikileaks Throughout Campaign

Wikileaks messaged Trump Jr. repeatedly, and many without receiving a response. "That means that the vast amount of stuff that we are publishing on Clinton will have much higher impact, because it won't be perceived as coming from a "pro-Trump" "pro-Russia" source". "We have guessed the password".

According to the Atlantic, the messages between Trump Jr. and WikiLeaks were handed over to Congress as part of its investigation into possible Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The WikiLeaks Twitter account sent a direct message to Trump jnr in September 2016, telling him that an anti-Trump site run by a political action committee was "about to launch".

In one instance, on October 3, 2016, Wikileaks wrote to Trump Jr. saying, "It'd be great if you guys could comment on/push this story", and attaching a quote from Hillary Clinton about wanting to "just drone" Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

WikiLeaks told Trump Jr. that it it would be "real easy and helpful" if Trump asked Australia to appoint Julian Assange ambassador to the US.

"There's many great stories the press are missing and we're sure some of your follows (sic) will find it", WikiLeaks wrote to Trump Jr. two days later.

"It is important to underscore here that this area of law applies to any and all coordinated spending beneficial to the campaign, not only to coordination with Russians, the Russian government, or other foreign nationals (think: Wikileaks)", Bauer wrote.

President Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., reportedly corresponded with WikiLeaks before the 2016 presidential election, but his attorneys have said they "have no concerns" about the documents. Twelve hours after recieving the message, Trump responded, "Off the record I don't know who that is, but I'll ask around".

The chats, which were also handed over to congressional investigators, started last summer after WikiLeaks began releasing a trove of emails poached by hackers from prominent Democratic Party members-the product of Kremlin-directed cyberattacks, according to the USA intelligence community, as well as multiple private security firms that examined the DNC's corpse of a server. "So dishonest! Rigged system!"

WikiLeaks added that Australia would not appoint Assange ambassador to the USA, but that the request from Trump alone would force Australia, the United Kingdom, and Sweden to "stop bending" the law "to ingratiate themselves with the Clintons".

The Atlantic says Trump Jr. stopped responding to WikiLeaks' direct messages in mid-October, and WikiLeaks afterward began to make more dramatic requests, in addition to the one for the tax returns, including the following.

WikiLeaks sent many more DMs to Trump Jr. over several months. But it is clear that Jr. was in contact with WikiLeaks right before the Podesta hack and that he took that information right up the food chain, to Bannon, Conway, and Kushner, if not to Trump himself. WikiLeaks attempted to convince Trump turn his emails with publicist Rob Goldstone about the meeting over to WikiLeaks.
