In a bid to counter Reliance Jio, telecom operator Vodafone announced its 348 plan for prepaid customers back in August.

The smallest combo offer here is the Airtel Rs. 999 recharge with 90 days validity. Under the 459 plan, it offers 1GB data per day with 100 SMS and unlimited calling without any daily FUP limit for the period of 84 days.

Any user who purchases any of Oppo's F3, F3 Plus and F1 Plus smartphones, will get 10GB additional 4G data on every recharge of Rs 309 or above.

Validity of the additional data voucher would be same as that of the base plan.

"Unlimited all Local+STD Calls (non-commercial use), outgoing in National Roaming & SMS Free (100 SMS/Day), 300GB data for 360 days". If you can't see the plan being reflected as an option for your number, just type the 3999 in the recharge amount and you will see the plan being reflected. In total, a user will get 300GB data, which works out to a little over 833 MB per day.

Also the plan does not have a daily FUP, which has its pros and cons. Days where you end up doing some heavy duty browsing, you will not face any slow speeds.

India's multi-billion-dollar telecoms industry has been in a state of flux since Mukesh Ambani launched Jio in September 2016, promising reduced tariffs and free voice calls for life.

Similar to Airtel's plan, the Reliance Jio's Rs 4,999 plan won't have any upper limit on a daily basis and can access the 350GB data at any given instance.

In the Rs 399 plan, the company offers 10GB of data - applicable on all network modes - 4G, 3G and 2G. For instance, Jio offers 84 days validity with 1GB data per day and unlimited calls for Rs. 459, and extends the same to 91 days with its Rs. 499 tariff. Reliance Jio also offers Rs 459 and Rs 509 plans. Airtel Rs 999 recharge packUnder a recharge plan priced at Rs 999, Airtel offers 60 GBs of data for a validity period of 90 days, according to its website.
