Cohen said that after stating she was exhausted and wanted to leave, Westwick suggested she nap in his guest bedroom while the two men smoothed over the "uncomfortable situation".

"I wanted to leave when Ed suggested 'we should all f***'", she added. The producer said that they would stay for another 20 minutes to smooth everything over and then leave. Cohen said she fell asleep but woke up to Westwick on top of her, "his fingers entering my body". I was paralyzed. I couldn't speak, I could no longer move.

"I do now know this woman", Westwick wrote. It's been an absolute rollercoaster going through this, but I know that I'm serving the greater good and that it's for the collective of all of us to have a voice and to create radical change in the industry.

"I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman", he said.

Cohen notes that she has made a decision to come forward now to hopefully help others who have suffered assault feel less alone, like the women and men doing so in the media now have done for her.

While Westwick of course has the right to respond to any and all allegations against him, the above sounds suspiciously like the blanket denials and dismissals that women who come forward about sexual abuse have received for decades.

Cohen wrote that the alleged incident took place on a visit to Westwick's house.

Cohen's Facebook post describes how she felt after the alleged rape, saying the producer didn't believe she was raped and thought she was an active participant.

Two witnesses, including former child star Blaise Godbe Lipman, have also come forward to support her allegations.

The 27-year-old actress recently filed a police report with the LAPD in Hollywood in regards to her allegations that she was raped by the actor three years ago.

One of Cohen's friends and her sister have spoken with Deadline to back up the actress' claim.

The actress said she was told "that I can't say anything because Ed will have people come after me, destroy me, and that I could forget about an acting career".

Ed Westwick, best known for playing Chuck Bass in the CW's Gossip Girl and current star of the BBC series White Gold, is the latest Hollywood figure to be accused of rape.

The actor is now starring in BBC Two's White Gold.
