Yet another alleged OnePlus 5T render leaks

Until now, there have been a few leaks of this supposed upgrade to the OnePlus 5 flagship from the Chinese smartphone maker.

A set of images has leaked online, purportedly showing the front and rear renders of the upcoming phone. Why sketchy? Well, the second render (of the phone's back side) looks identical to the OnePlus 5's back side, while the front side of the device looks like the OnePlus 5 with thinner bezels, so it is possible that the image has simply been photoshopped.

OnePlus was recently in the spotlight for collecting personal user data without notifying the users.

The launch is not yet confirmed but rumours of a November launch are floating around.

The most noticeable changes are the relocation of the fingerprint sensor from the front of the phone to the rear, in turn allowing for much thinner bezels on the display side and an nearly edge-to-edge screen. But they may scrape the OnePlus 5T and opt to launch OnePlus 6 in 2018. That would explain why OnePlus has updated the design, and in turn pair the phone with new internal hardware, while not upsetting original OnePlus 5 customers.

Rumors suggest the device will ship with a 6-inch display which has an 18:9 aspect ration and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

It is still unclear whether the smartphone will see the light of day, as there are speculations that the company will be skipping 5T to focus on developing the OnePlus 6. So, the company is thinking to produce the 5T with the same feature while putting the rest of the features same from OnePlus 5.

It is expected that, the design of OnePlus 5T is asserted to have a Galaxy S8-like design with the edge-to-edge display and curved edges.

GizmoChina has obtained a photograph that claims to show the OnePlus 5T.
