Video of Kane hitting a Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver on Reigns and knocking him was one sight that the WWE fans are relishing. With the victory, a fifth man was added to the team of Strowman, The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro that will face The Shield at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs on Sunday. With the trio set to take on The Miz and The Bar on Sunday, Braun Strowman had a chance to earn a spot for himself and a fifth member in the match.

As The Bar and Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins brawled their way into the parking garage outside the arena, it appeared that it was going to be left to Reigns and Strowman. The Bar, Strowman and the Miz came waltzed out and just when you thought, TLC would come early, General Manager Kurt Angle reminded the individuals of two big matches that were lined up. But Rollins intervened and went on to interact with the crowd. Even though Rollins was neutralised for a stretch, The Lunatic fringe, after receiving the tag, unloaded on Cesaro and eventually planted Sheamus with the Dirty Deeds to pick up the win. But the one that changed the match was Kane who emerged from underneath the ring and administered two chokeslams on Roman Reigns, announcing his decision to join the fight against The Shield. Despite connecting the spear, Reigns' luck had run out.

It was also announced on Raw that Finn Balor will once again become The Demon at TLC, this time for his match against the Bray Wyatt incarnation Sister Abigail.
