The next season of Stranger Things begins streaming on October 27th.

"On Friday the 13th, watch the final trailer".

Not only is it the ideal time to drop a new trailer to get fans stoked with excitement two weeks away from the premiere, but the fact it's going to be Friday the 13th makes it all the more fitting for the show that dabbles in the horror genre and when Halloween is a big theme for the new series.

In essence: Stranger Things arrives in two weeks, and given how much is glimpsed in the new trailer, it might be worth holding out for 14 days in order to press on without too much knowledge of the future.

However, the Duffer Brothers, writers of "Stranger Things", have warned fans that the titles may still change.

"You should go now".

Stranger Things season 2 is set about a year after the events of the first season and finds the reunited friends trying to get their lives back to normal.

There's an H.P. Lovecraft sort of approach, this inter-dimensional being that is sort of beyond human comprehension. But it's all connected to this singular threat which is tied into this shape that Will sees in the sky. In addition to Astin, the series has also added Paul Reiser (Aliens), Brett Gelman (Jobs), Dacre Montgomery (Power Rangers), Danish actress Linnea Berthelsen, and Broadway star Sadie Sink into the mix as well.

Stranger Things season 2 premieres on Netflix Oct. 27.
