In order to be eligible to register to vote, a person must be a US citizen, be a resident of Virginia, and be at least 18 years old by November 7 of this year. "We've got city councils in both Utica and Rome up".

Candidates for local offices and the State Supreme Court will be on the ballot, along with three statewide ballot propositions. If voters still need to register, residents have until October 30 to visit to register and receive a ballot through the mail.

The last minute to sign up to vote is upon us, with mail-in and in-person voter registration ending tomorrow.

The Muskingum County Board of Elections is open through 8:00 5:00 P.M. until, 2017. Friday, however, is the deadline for anyone who wishes to register in-person with their board of elections.

On Election Day, Nov. 7, the centers will be open from 7 7 p.m. 8 a.m. - 5 p.m Monday.

If you do it IRL, either mail the form in, or hand it off to a Board of Elections office-you can find the right one for your borough here.

The portal also allows registered voters to preview the ballot and request an absentee ballot.

The voter registration form can be downloaded at, where people unsure if they are registered may also check their status.
