While doing the promotional rounds for his latest film, Hemsworth's interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live was interrupted by Damon.

After walking the carpet at the Thor: Ragnarok premiere on Tuesday night, Chris Hemsworth sat down for a chat on Jimmy Kimmel Live, but faced an uninvited guest - Matt Damon. Also among the cast is Sam Neill, reuniting with Taika Waititi, who directed him in his previous film Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and his Jurassic Park co-star Jeff Goldblum. As he describes the hammer, his new pal Korg (voiced by Waititi) says, "It sounds like you had a pretty special and intimate relationship with this hammer and that losing it was nearly comparable to losing a loved one".

As Hemsworth said he's grown "close" with Ruffalo, Damon snuck into the frame backstage. "We have the same trainer, a mate of mine from school that we grew up with, and he very often says, 'You know what, your wife is much fitter than you are, ' so I'm well aware of it". "Hold on a second".

"I had got pretty bored of myself as that character and so did [Taika], maybe a few people out there [too], so we thought, "Let's do something different". With just three weeks away from debuting worldwide, promotional activities for the God of Thunder's third standalone movie have already been kicked into high gear.

This isn't the first time Damon has tried to sneak on Kimmel's show.

"It's the mighty Thor not the mighty bore, so take a walk!" Kimmel told Damon. Apologizing to Ruffalo and Waititi again, Kimmel said, "I'm so sorry. He has his own area that he's supposed to stay in".
