The Xbox One update lets you personalise your Home, features an improved Guide, more notifications and a performance boost.

When you bring up Guide while in an active party or broadcast, Guide will automatically open the party or broadcast section by default for faster access to controls.

Then there are blocks, a new way of organising your favourite games and friends. Xbox One users who have downloaded the latest OS version will experience design improvements and more customization options for light, scale, material, motion, and depth.

Existing Xbox One owners can back up their games and console settings to an external drive so that they're ready to be applied to the new console during setup. You can also back up games and console settings to an external drive or copy over your home network for a network transfer from one console to another.

This includes a new Pin button that holds upwards of 40 pins. Just unplug the drive from your current console, plug it in to your new one, and you're ready to go.

Microsoft has rolled out their Spring update to their consoles, which is notable for one big reason: A new, new Dashboard. With the arrival of blocks, you choose which content is going to show up on your dashboard.

The Mixer tab now has previews so you can see more before joining.

On Xbox One X, Mixer can capture gameplay and screenshots in 4K/HDR. Once you start a Broadcast, a new flyout will appear that includes your profile stats.

A redesigned Guide makes it easier to see which friends are playing the same game as you, and it also provides access to tournaments and invitations. For the first time in a while, the set up looks like it isn't trying to hide the things you need away somewhere. In the previous version, sometimes it was hard to find what you were looking for but now with the blocks, you can select content, games or apps whichever you want.

Right-to-left languages such as Arabic and Hebrew are now available.

Apart from that, the update for Xbox users you have to be patient for this new feature which allows you share links to invite other to your Minecraft Realms.
