Harvey Weinstein got fired from the company that bears his name on his day off.

"[The caller] said the subject was feeling suicidal and depressed", the New York Daily News reported, citing a source.

According to reports, Weinstein's daughter was arguing with her father at her home on the street where he was heard yelling at her: "You're making it worse", and tried to jump in a random vehicle.

Ramirez described the incident as a "family dispute", and said police will not be following up on the incident.

TMZ reports that Weinstein's daughter Remy called 911, allegedly telling the dispatcher that her father was "suicidal and depressed" on Wednesday morning.

Apparently Weinstein and his daughter had an argument, and he was seen saying "You're making it worse", before flagging down the auto.

Weinstein had been staying at his 22-year-old daughter's home where the two were holding an intense argument. At the time, Remy was able to convince her father to return indoors, but by the time police arrived Weinstein had already left the building.

The unnamed source indicated that Weinstein was initially attempting to leave the home to prevent the paparazzi from dragging his daughter into the situation.

Jay, along with several other investors including a famous movie producer and a billionaire, are talking about purchasing Weinstein's 23% interest in the company.

The New York Times was first to break the story last Thursday, detailing "dozens" of sexual harassment allegations against Weinstein in a bombshell exposé.
