Riaz grabbed 3-10 to derail Sri Lanka's second innings - 34-5 at close - but the visitors were still in a strong position with an overall lead of 254 runs with five wickets intact.

The ongoing second Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka here witnessed a freaky incident when the hosts' pacer Wahab Riaz missed his run-up five consecutive times, which made coach Mickey Arthur furious, who walked back to the dressing room.

Dimuth Karunaratne, who made a career-best 196 in the first innings, was unable to replicate his performance as he was clean bowled by Wahab Riaz for seven runs.

Riaz was the most successful bowler with three wickets, while Abbas and Yasir claimed one wicket each.

ODI Squad: Ahmed Shehzad, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Sarfraz Ahmed (C)(Wk), Imad Wasim, Shahdab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Mohammed Amir, Ruman Raees, Junaid Khan, Haris Sohail and Imam-ul-Haq.

Dilruwan and Herath picked up three wickets apiece, while Gamage and Lakmal chipped in with two wickets each.

Mohammad Amir will not be bowling for Pakistan in the match owing to his injury.

The 23-year-old Usman like Amir is a left-arm pacer but is uncapped at ODI level, although he has played in four T20Is including two against the World XI in the series in Pakistan last month. He will also not appear in ODIs where Usman Shinwari has been named as his replacement. "We have chased 370 plus runs to beat Sri Lanka in a Test match and that should give us confidence,", he concluded.
