Manchester City have fuelled rumours that Sergio Aguero will return sooner rather than later, after they shared a video on Twitter showing the forward walking out to train.

Striker Sergio Aguero has completed a full training session with Manchester City and could be available for Saturday's Premier League game against Stoke City, two weeks after sustaining a broken rib in a road accident.

However, just 11 days later he was involved in light training at the club's Eastlands complex with those players not involved in worldwide fixtures.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's present contract situation at the Nou Camp is uncertain, b ut Aguero said: "City would have no money problems in regards to signing Messi, but he is a symbol of Barcelona and it would be very hard for him to leave".

Midfielder Fabian Delph also took part in Tuesday's session having recovered from a minor knock sustained against Chelsea which forced him to pull out of the England squad.

Messi has yet to sign a new contract at the Camp Nou despite reportedly agreeing terms on a three-year extension in the summer.

"I still do not know if I am going to play on Saturday", Aguero told TyC Sports. "But I think Messi, like [Cristiano] Ronaldo, are players who are symbols of their clubs and it's hard for them to leave". "I congratulated him and thanked him for all he's been doing for the national team". "On Thursday I will train with the group and see if I'm comfortable".
