MEMORABLE MEETING The only time that Burnley have got the better of Manchester City in the Premier League was back in March 2015 when Sean Dyche's men picked up a 1-0 win at Turf Moor.

Burnley are yet to lose while Nick Pope has played in goal, while Sean Dyche's men are now on a six-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League.

Guardiola also stressed that his high-flying squad would not underestimate Burnley, who have made a solid start to the new season and now sit level on points with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The match kicks off at 3pm.

Guardiola said: "Usually with long injuries players are sad and train apart".

"At other clubs he might not have had that time, but they are a fine team, and that is what they look like - a team, with and without the ball".

They sit two points clear of second-place Manchester United, who travel to Huddersfield hoping new signing Romelu Lukaku will end a run of 17 matches without a goal against newly-promoted sides.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "We have a lot of respect for what they have done".

Burnley have started their 2017-18 Premier League campaign on a strong note, with Sean Dyche retaining the defensive shape that the Clarets are known for while also adding dynamism to their attack following the arrival of Chris Wood. "We have to try to be dynamic".

Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva have been given the task of dictating the pace of the game, which the duo have done effortlessly so far, running the games with elan, and with the likes of Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero in front of them, the Citizens are often scoring goals for fun.

One player who is back in contention, however, is striker Sergio Aguero.
