However a bad news also accompanied the good news as Muhammad Hafeez was once again reported for a suspect bowling action in third ODI against Sri Lanka. He was suspended for a second time after an independent assessment revealed that he had employed an illegal bowling action after being reported in the Galle Test v Pakistan in June 2015.

Sri Lanka are losing the ODI series of five matches irrespective of the outcome of the match today and the last one.

Hafeez was first suspended from bowling in December 2014.
