Nokia 9 renders leaked, reveal thin bezels

Many concept images of the flagship smartphone have been leaked online, and now new renders of the Nokia 9 corroborate previous leaks. The render comes by way of OnLeaks, and given the leaker's track record, it's fair to assume this is what the Nokia 9 will end up looking like. So, it does make sense about the recently leaked Nokia 9, which offers similar specifications as that of the Nokia 8 with a few improvements as well.

The renders are based on factory CAD blueprints, and show off the Nokia 9 from all angles, revealing a curved display and dual cameras at the back.

According to their sources, the Nokia 9 will have a 5.5-inch quad HD AMOLED display. Also, the display on the alleged Nokia 9 looks bezel-less on the sides. The camera module is dead center on the upper portion of the handset's back and is placed vertically. This means, following the footsteps of the other smartphone makers, HMD Global with the Nokia 9 may also ditch the headphone jack. That's despite seemingly credible gossip of "customized" variants of sorts heading for China and the United States this fall, presumably with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage instead of standard 4/64 gig equipment. There's a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and a dual camera array that protrudes substantially. Unfortunately, the headphone jack is missing once again. This - Nokia 2 - is expected to be the cheapest Android phone by the company until date - cheaper than Nokia 3. Finally, coming to the operating system, the device will offer Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box with stock Android user experience. Meanwhile, HMD Global is working on another budget phone, which may be called Nokia 2.

"I apologize for the disappointing information", Fryover said. If this is indeed the Nokia 9, it will mark Nokia's entry into the bezel-less or thin-bezel market.
