On-site, they have stolen not less than $ 50,000 of property, such as "bags and sunglasses" in the full amount.

The remains of Los Angeles-Mariah Carey has been the target of burglars arrived.

The Los Angeles Police Department declined to confirm any burglary investigation involving Carey.

Law enforcement sources tell us Mariah's crib was hit around 3 AM Thursday.

The mother of two was in NY during the 3 a.m. robbery Thursday, where the 47-year-old chanteuse enjoyed dinner and bowling with boyfriend, dancer Brian Tanaka, 34, the previous night.

The thieves used a ladder around 3 a.m. on October 19 to gain access to the upper floor of Carey's home, where they snapped up pricey sunglasses, purses and other loot. Nobody was at the residence when the thieves entered, and a ladder was reportedly left behind in the backyard. She joins a group of celebrities that include Jason Derulo, Alanis Morissette, David Spade, Emmy Rossum and Scott Disick, among others. In their momentum, burglars have triggered a "silent alarm" that has not really had the desired effect.
