"Last season was hard because, when you are alone, there was only the work, but now I am driving", said Conte.

Conte himself, however, has poured cold water over rumours about his future, claiming he is committed to Chelsea and enjoying life living in London.

"My family stay here with me, not in Italy".

Numerous reports claiming Conte was set to leave Chelsea last season were based on the fact that his wife and daughter remained in Italy, though they were frequently present for matches at Stamford Bridge and joined the 48-year-old on the pitch as the Blues celebrated winning the Premier League title in May. Now there is my job and when I go to my house [I'm] with my daughter and wife.

"Every coach, when they start, they work with the club and hope they will stay for a long time and build something important". Instead this season we are together and my wife and my daughter live the same feeling, if we win, we draw, we lose. He said: 'From two weeks I am reading wrong things also because I did an interview two weeks ago and I am sure the translation was wrong because I only said one day in the future I would like to go back to Italy.

If Milan don't experience a good level of success this season, which presumably means qualifying for the Champions League at the very least, Montella's position may not be as tenable as it now is. I have two years [on my] contract with Chelsea and am happy to work for this club and with my players.

Speculation about his future has been reignited by a recent interview in which former Juventus boss Conte reiterated that he plans to return to Italy at some stage.

"I think that this experience for my daughter is an incredible experience and a great gift that I am giving her".

"You know very well the importance of Kante in our team".
