What better way to excited for the new National Basketball Association season than with a new hype video?

Cleveland superstar LeBron James tried to break up the play.

According a report from Fox Sports Ohio's Allie Clifton, James will indeed suit up for tonight's highly-anticipated matchup inside Quicken Loans Arena.

Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said on Monday that if James can't suit up, J.R. Smith would take his place in the Cavs starting lineup.

James rolled his ankle during practice last month when he stepped on rookie Cedi Osman's foot. He played 30 minutes but may have aggravated the injury on a spin move.

No player likes to see any other player suffer an injury, particularly not one as gruesome as the one Gordon Hayward suffered in the first quarter of the Celtics' season-opener against the Cavs.

However, with a chance to face Irving, who has made some veiled comments about his relationship with James, the three-time champion will be on the floor. Wade said it's been challenging to develop chemistry with such a major piece like James limited. "So we haven't had a lot of time together with that unit but it's not an excuse".

We can't make it up.
