The right-hander has the opportunity to return the favor tonight at Progressive Field when the Indians and Yankees square off in a series-deciding Game 5.

Encanacion has not played since Game 2 when he left in the first inning after spraining his right ankle going back into second base to try and avoid a double play.

"I feel very good", he said. Manager Terry Francona hinted at that possibility Tuesday morning, telling Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com that he hopes to have Encarnacion back.

"He's been hitting off of a machine already". Me being in the lineup tomorrow is what we all want; it's what I want.

Encarnacion was spotted jogging in the outfield Tuesday.

The Tribe's offense scored three runs in Games 3 and 4 in the Bronx. He later faced Ryan Merritt in a simulated game, singled and tipped his cap after running to first. They could definitely use Encarnacion's presence in the middle of the lineup.

Encarnacion hit 38 homers and drove in 107 runs during the regular season. He won't have to run if he hits a ball out of the park, and he can take walks if his bat is rusty. NY might have the momentum coming in, but Cleveland is about to get one of its most unsafe weapons back.
