Demi Lovato says she was secretly doing drugs while promoting sobriety

She's recently drawn plaudits for having passed the five-year mark in her sobriety campaign, but Demi Lovato has revealed that she didn't initially practice what she preached when she vowed to get clean.


He recalls, "We were in NY and she clearly was on something, and she was on air promoting this new way of life, and I was like, "You're so full of it". But, she also admitted that she does have slip-ups sometimes.

Opening up in her new documentary, the outspoken performer revealed: "Food is still the biggest challenge in my life and it controls". I'm so happy for you.

Demi's one hella courageous woman.


She said she's still not sure if that was best for them. "It's just constant. Like I get envious toward people that don't struggle with an eating disorder just because I feel like my life would be so much easier". Demi's using the dating app Raya, and says "I am on the dating app with both guys and girls; I'm open to human connection, so whether that's through a male or female, that doesn't matter to me".

But it didn't stop Demi and she ended up being placed on psychiatric hold after she downed half a bottle of pills. "Love you." Selena's kind words come after Demi, also 25, previously shared a trailer in which she claimed she would never stop "being honest" about her previous struggles with substance abuse and eating disorders, as well her current battle with bipolar disorder.

Adding to the praise, a loyal supporter remarked: "You're so incredibly strong". And she's letting you know that you can do the same thing.
