Dallas Cowboys activate DE David Irving for week 5

It was a year ago, in fact, for Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers - before they beat the Cowboys on the road in a divisional playoff on their playmaking quarterback's improbable completion that set up the winning field goal.

Dak Prescott VS Green Bay linebackers: Dak likes to make plays with his feet rather than throw incompletions or unsafe balls so the Packers linebacking corps will need to keep an eye on the young signal-caller.

Despite a quadriceps injury that knocked him out of a Week 2 loss at Atlanta, wideout Jordy Nelson has five touchdowns and 17 receptions in his three other games.

The Packers travel to Arlington for another contest against the Dallas Cowboys, the latest shootout between two the NFL's biggest powerhouse franchises.

"That's kind of the key for us is to stay focused on our job and not kind of ride the roller coaster of emotions when things are going great or when things are struggling a little bit", Rodgers said. I think this team should get better as the season goes along.

Rodgers had his 16th game with at least four touchdowns and no interceptions since 2008 in a 35-14 win over Chicago in Week 4. In the passing phase, one variable is whether the longer break will help WR Davante Adams (concussion) come back to challenge Dallas, which allows just 6.7 yards per throw and is tied for third in the National Football League with 12 sacks.

On offense, the Cowboys' lack of success on first down could prove to be a problem if they are once again dependent on Dak Prescott to make the majority of the plays. "We're going to talk about a plan as far as what type of protection I can wear. We are going to do it". Per the usual, Aaron Rodgers shredded Chicago's defense, throwing four touchdown passes and posting a passer rating of 128.

"I'd say it's a pretty close-knit group". If Rodgers starts getting his offensive line and weapons back around midseason, you could see the Packers take off on a long run of wins. "I'm like, 'Man, c'mon.' Guess you've got to just learn from it". The Packers might have RT Bryan Bulaga back, though.

Well, that's not what's best for the Cowboys.

In both games last season against Green Bay, Elliott rushed for well over 100 yards with 282 yards combined. At 6-foot-3, King has the size the Packers want for press coverage against receivers such as Dez Bryant.

If Hitchens returns, Jaylon Smith probably won't play every defensive snap, which he did for the first time in his career against the Rams.

While the Packers running game is even worse than the Cowboys, the presence of Rodgers makes it less of a priority than for the Dallas Cowboys. Everybody here could fit in there.

"The win previous year", said Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott.

America's Game of the Week is a rematch of the best match up of last year's playoffs. Rodgers pulled it out in the NFC divisional playoff in January, but Cowboys take this one. Both were plagued by hamstring issues in training camp, with Lewis missing the opener and Awuzie the past two games after aggravating his injury. Watch to see how often Defensive Coordinator Dom Capers uses the base defense versus his "Nitro" package to slow down the run game. In four games, the second-year pro is averaging just 3.6 a carry, which might explain why Dallas is 2-2. He has seven TDs in past five home games, including two last week.
