Michigan lost at home to Michigan State on September 30 and Jim Harbaugh's team was pushed to overtime by IN on Saturday before winning. While on a bye, the Nittany Lions moved up to No. 2 in the AP Poll and are already a 12-point favorite on Saturday when they host MI. James Franklin's unbeaten Nittany Lions are 6-0 and face a Wolverines team that has been tested the last two weeks. Barkley also has 10 total touchdowns. The Nittany Lions are in the driver's seat for a spot in the College Football Playoff, but must get past a brutal three-week span that begins with a home game against the Michigan Wolverines.

Maryland too was unable to find the back of the cage as Jenny Rizzo was also able to lead the Nittany Lions out of the first half unblemished with six saves.

Even though Penn State had a bye week, the Nittany Lions moved up to No. 2 in the latest Associated Press rankings after former No. 2 Clemson was upset by Syracuse Friday night.

However, Penn State coach James Franklin has yet to beat MI. In last year's meeting, MI rolled, 49-10.

68 - Receiving yards per game for Hoosiers receiver Simmie Cobbs, who had 11 catches for 149 yards in his team's season-opener against Ohio State. The Nittany Lions defeated Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game and played USC in the Rose Bowl.
