'This is completely unacceptable, and I find myself asking what I can do to make sure this doesn't happen to others.

Rose McGowan put Ben Affleck on blast after the actor released a statement claiming he was unaware of Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct with women, claiming that she personally told the Argo star she was sexually harassed by the studio exec when they were working on a movie together. "I'd rather have a high five".

A rep for Affleck did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday. We need to do better at protecting our sisters, friends, co-workers and daughters.

Affleck wrote Tuesday that the news about the man who helped create his career "made me sick" and that we must "condemn this type of behavior when we see it".

Another fan responded, writing, "He also grabbed Hilarie Burton's breasts on TRL once". Hilarie Burton has concluded his message by saying it was "impressed" by the women who decide to speak publicly about their bad experiences. "Everyone forgot though", the fan wrote. McGowan claimed that she had spoken to Affleck about Weinstein's behaviour but didn't pay heed. Burton, now a star on Lethal Weapon, replied, "Seriously, thanks for that. I was a kid", Burton said.

The Charmed actress reached a settlement with Weinstein back in 1997, but it has yet to hold her back from voicing opinions on the matter.

Burton herself has remained out of the Weinstein conversation until now, apart from retweets on her timeline. I'm so impressed with you courageous ones.

Ben Affleck would in any case have had to think twice before expressing his outrage. Rose McGowan, one of the actresses accusing Weinstein, also reacted to Affleck's statement, first by simply telling him to "f-- off". She shared a video from the show where Affleck asks her how old she is, and she briefly describes the alleged groping incident.
