Dani Alves is hopeful Alexis Sanchez will choose Paris as his next destination and make the switch from Arsenal to join him at PSG.

Ozil's agent Dr Erkut Sogut confirmed the talks over a new deal has been "positive" so far as his client is eyeing for two or three more seasons in the Premier League.

"Once you're in our kind of situation, you envisage every solution, yes".

"The fact that we didn't find an agreement a year ago doesn't mean they will leave".

"Both players look happy here, overall I hope the situation can be turned round".

"Mentally, I will have to assess the situation when he comes back tomorrow (Friday)".

Sanchez will be dealing with both fatigue and the disappointment of missing out on next summer's tournament in Russian Federation, and Wenger said he will have to gauge the player's physical and mental state before deciding whether to play him at Watford. "It was a very physical game [against Brazil]".

Of Sanchez's potential availability on Saturday against Watford, Wenger said: "I will have to speak with him, I watched the whole game [ against Brazil]".

Indeed, he's not only one of Arsenal's only world-class talents, he's among the best players in the Premier League.

The same article states that Arsene Wenger is ready to move to sign the 29-year-old in the event that Ozil and Sanchez both decide to leave the north London club before the 2018-19 season.

"I am more concerned that yesterday afternoon I watched the whole game, Brazil against Chile, to see how hard the game was and I must say he got some special treatment in this game".
