While both the X20 and X20 Plus come with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio, Vivo X20 features 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display and Vivo X20 Plus features 6.43-inch display. This is backed up by 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. In addition to a fingerprint sensor, the Vivo X20 and X20 Plus also come with facial recognition technology.

If we talk about the highlight features first, the rear dual camera setup on both X20 and X20 Plus comes with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat based FunTouchOS 3.2 out of the box. On the front side, the Vivo X20 features a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and soft LED flash for capturing bright selfies even in low light conditions.

The Vivo X20 has been priced at CNY 2,998 (approximately Rs 30,000) while the bigger X20 Plus received a price tag of CNY 3,498 (approximately Rs 35,000).

While the rumors suggested the company to introduce the underglass fingerprint sensor, the device actually comes with a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Only the dual rear cameras on the Vivo X20 Plus offers OIS for recording better videos. The Vivo X20 and X20 Plus smartphones feature Full View displays with taller-than-usual aspect ratio of 18:9 and dual camera setup at the back.

Moving on the bigger version, the Vivo X20 Plus comes equipped with a huge 6.43-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a scratch resistance 2.5D curved glass coating on top. While the Snapdragon 660 is a beast of a mid-range mobile SoC, it does seem out of place in supposed "flagship" smartphones. As if the processor wasn't powerful enough, Vivo coupled it with 4GB of RAM. The X20 Plus will cost CNY 3,498 ($530 or €444). The Vivo X20 and X20 Plus offers up to 85.3% & 86.11% screen-to-body ratio respectively. On the connectivity front, both the smartphones support 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, GPS, USB Type-C port and dual-SIM slot.

Both the smartphones will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Matte Black colour options. The former handset weighs 159 grams while the latter weighs 181.5 grams.
