Sam Bradford (knee) traveled with Vikings to Pittsburgh

If Bradford is sidelined for Sunday's game, backup Case Keenum will step in as the starter.

Bradford participated in practice on a limited basis this week because of swelling and discomfort in his knee and underwent an MRI, which ESPN reported came back negative.

"Well, they win, number one", Zimmer said of the Steelers. After having the best season of his career upon arriving in Minnesota a year ago, Bradford showed it was far from a fluke as he lit up New Orleans. Whoever is under center, it'll be vital to give them a clean pocket against Pittsburgh.

Conversely, the Steelers have to slam Minnesota's rushing attack and force Sam Bradford, who's on a gimpy knee, to push the ball downfield.

Roehtlisberger will always be a wild card, and even when the talent around him is struggling, he has shown an wonderful ability to make plays downfield and orchestrate some brilliant offensive drives. The Steelers went on to win 21-18 despite Bell's underwhelming performance, but fans shouldn't be too concerned about the way he played.

Not only will fantasy owners have to consider this being the Vikings first road game - Minnesota struggled on the road last season - but the Vikings will be going up against a lethal Pittsburgh Steelers offense.

The Minnesota Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints 29-19 in the home opener.

The Vikings quarterback situation is still a bit of an unknown on Saturday night. But if Brown is in the slot, things could get interesting, with either Terence Newman or Mackensie Alexander tasked with slowing down the five-time Pro Bowler.

He'll play a lot of two-deep safety and try to get to Roethlisberger with four pass rushers.

"I think that's something I've learned in the National Football League - you don't need to do everything yourself", Goff said after the Rams' 46-9 win.

"I'm concerned about all of our players", Zimmer told reporters.

Pittsburgh said one reason for Bell's usage - he played 43 of the team's 60 offensive snaps - was the number of penalties. Sloter threw for 413 yards and three touchdowns for Denver in the preseason. The team is holding out hope he might be ready for Sunday's game.
