Recently, Okami HD appeared on the Korean Game Rating Board for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The remaster is quite cheap in Japan because it is priced at 2990 Yen for the standard version and 4990 Yen for the limited edition. Originally developed by Hideki Kamiya's Clover Studio and released on PlayStation 2 in 2006, it was highly praised for its handsome Japanese-style music and visuals.

While there isn't any information on the platforms for the time being, the new Okami HD version, titled Okami: Zekkei in Japan, will have HD and 4K support as well as a reproduction of elements from the original Okami. Not too surprising, as the original game (released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and the Wii in 2008) and the initial HD version of the game (2012 for the PlayStation 3) garnered a small but dedicated following outside Japan.

Capcom has announced Okami HD and it comes as no surprise. Okami director Hideki Kamiya and producer Atushi Inaba later went on to work at PlatinumGames. The game explores Japanese folklore and features a visual style based on sumi-e ink painting.
