Neymar: Mbappe is great but will get better

PSG will start their Champions League campaign in the city of Glasgow where they take on Scottish Giants, Celtic.

By scoring, Mbappe has become the first teenager to score for more than one club in the Champions League.

As Innes noted, the attempted kick out missed Mbappe, seconds before the pitch invader was set upon by stewards. While it is a comical incident upon reflection, surely questions have to be raised about the standard of security at Parkhead. He added that he didn't see how PSG could stay within FFP rules-even by selling more players-after the acquisitions of Neymar (€222 million) and Mbappé (a reported €180 million next summer).

PSG, who were quarter-finalists in four successive seasons before falling to a remarkable Barcelona comeback in the last 16 past year, next host Bayern Munich in a mouthwatering clash on September 27, when Celtic visit Anderlecht.

The attacking trio of Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe have been touted as having the ability to fire PSG to a first European Cup triumph and they started off in the best possible fashion, each scoring in the win.

With Bayern Munich also in Group B, Emery will want to register a comfortable win here to give his side the best chance at securing the top spot in the group, and a more favourable draw. On their day Celtic can upset any team in world football, but they have not won any of their nine opening Champions League group stage games, so perhaps this won't be their day.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers was pleased that the rest of the sell-out crowd had voiced their displeasure at the individual's action.

"Therefore, I would ask anyone who is attending to ensure they get there early - plan your travel in advance".

"It's disappointing for any ground, any club, a supporter getting on to the pitch like that".

"I was very pleased for him, that will help him going forward". "I did not think he would come", Verratti admitted with a smile.

Speaking ahead of the game, the Brazilian superstar has stated that he will not be concerned by Celtic fans potentially booing him during the encounter and explained that any hostile reception would only be a waste of time from the home supporters.
