McLaren 570GT MSO Collection is just six cars long

In terms of both price and drivability, the Sports Series is the most accessible model line McLaren has ever made. Each of the six XP Green 570GTs is finished with special Saddle Tan leather interior with green leather inserts in the seats and contrasting stitching in green.

Each example will be painted in McLaren's "XP Green" exterior paint, the same colour used on the homologation model. McLaren has announced that it has revived a very special paint color that originally showed up on the incredibly rare McLaren F1 XP GT Longtail. The exterior gets pin-striping to match the tan interior and a subtle silver-grey Union Jack emblem.

The XP Green color will only be available to owners in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands and will add a monumental $28,305 using today's exchange rate. "As well as making it possible for individual McLaren owners to have exactly the McLaren they want, McLaren Special Operations will continue to create limited-volume collections such as these six 570GT models in XP Green, to further extend customer choice", said Jolyon Nash, McLaren Automotive Executive Director, Global Sales and Marketing. Although, that's not to say it's not fast as it can still get from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 204mph. McLaren later developed the Longtail version, marked by its extended rear bodywork and deep bottle-green paint finis, now reserved for bespoke commissions.

Opting for the 570GT XP Green by MSO adds 21,000 pounds ($35,653) to the base auto, which obviously depends on the specification chosen by the customer.

Furthermore, each MSO XP Green 570GT gets the GT Upgrade Pack, which includes a vehicle lift, rear view camera, alarm, Bowers & Wilkins audio system, auto cover, and a set of 5-spoke lightweight forged wheels finished in Stealth.

If you buy a McLaren, the options to customise to your tastes are as deep as your pockets, although as a result customer cars are not always the epitome of class and style.
