Jamie Carragher sends message to Arsenal fans about Chelsea midfielder

Antonio Conte remains aggrieved by Chelsea's recent defeats to Arsenal. In total the Gunners managed just 10pts in their 10 matches against their fellow top six teams, which went some way to seeing them miss out on a Champions League spot.

Although us Arsenal fans aren't expecting much from the match, if it's anything other than three points I think it will be another season of our only realistic ambition is making the top four.

Keen to avoid another damaging dismissal at Stamford Bridge this weekend, the Chelsea boss told his players to focus on keeping their emotions in check, while also placing the spotlight on referee Michael Oliver.

A fifth-placed league finish led to pressure on Wenger, with the Frenchman coming in for criticism from some supporters again following a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool a fortnight ago.

The 26-year-old Belgium global, recovering from an ankle surgery, appeared as a substitute in Chelsea's last two games, victories over Leicester City and Qarabag of Azerbaijan. Arsenal's dominance over Chelsea knew no bounds as they had won 11 of their last 17 meetings from Sunday January 31, 1999 to Tuesday April 6, 2004. When you play against Arsenal it is always a massive game.

Jack Wilshere could also feature after coming off the bench to make his first Arsenal appearance in 13 months.

"When I started as a manager, after seven games, or nine, I don't remember, they sacked me", he recalled. "Anything can happen and we must pay great attention and play a great game against a rival".

"Last season I said during many press conferences about N'Golo that he could improve a lot with the ball", Conte added.

We are backing a home win in this game as our prediction as we can't see the Gunners getting anything out of this game.

Conte will be without Danny Drinkwater after the England midfielder, a deadline-day signing from Leicester City, was ruled out for several weeks with a calf muscle injury.

Conte said: "It's very hard to see him before the global break".

Given his position, Bakayoko needs time to adjust to Chelsea's tactics, but Conte is happy with the man who appears to be the Blues' direct replacement for Nemanja Matic, now at Manchester United.
