She took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to share a pic of her newly-dyed hair.

In the caption, she thanked the Thrones "genius" hairstylists for her new look, as well as creating the "Khaleesi wig". Emilia meets mother of dragons. "If you squint just so you might never know", confirming our beliefs that she truly is Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and Wearer of All the Hair Colors.

The possibility that a shorter-cropped look (sans wig) for Clarke may translate to defeat on the battlefield in Season 8 is giving the Huffington Post a case of "Game of Thrones" anxiety.

Now it seems the British actress has made a decision to embody her onscreen character and has bleached her hair Khaleesi blonde. As many book readers have noted over the years, Daenerys should actually have shorter hair already: in the books, when Drogon rescues her from the Dragonpit and douses her in fire, she survives but loses her hair in the process.

Sophie Turner once told Refinery 29 that Sansa's hair is based on the "people she's learning from, or mimicking, or inspired by".

In other words, we probably will not get to see the final season of Game of Thrones sooner than 2019. These HBO events, where I'll be talking to someone for a fair amount of time, and then suddenly they're like, 'Oh sh**! After Khaleesi defeated the Lannister army, the long braids she displayed appeared to recall those of her former boo Khal Drogo. That's going to change now that she's goldilocks.

Filming for the final season will begin next month, and it could go on until as late as August 2018. "It's silly to say, but when I take the wig off at the end of the day, I'm rather disappointed when I look in the mirror", she said. I think they both know it's going to cause problems. Fans will just have to wait until the show returns to find out how the character looks in character with her new blonde look.
