Left to right: U.S. Reps. They're demanding the president work with Congress to pass a clean DREAM Act that includes a path to citizenship for immigrant youth.

The office of Rep. Raúl Grijalva (D-Arizona) reported Monday that he and two other Democratic congressmen were arrested at a pro-DACA protest by Trump Tower in New York City. After meeting with Trump last week, Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said they had agreed to pursue a deal to protect former DACA recipients that included additional border security measures.

Law Newz also reached out to the New York Police Department to confirm the arrests, and any possible charges, but a spokeswoman told us shortly before press time to call back because the records were still processing.

Ten people were arrested during a protest led by Latino lawmakers outside Trump Tower in Midtown.

"We're here, this is a great roundtable discussion with business leaders, academic leaders and some of our congressional members from IL, from Arizona, from Brooklyn, and we're here to talk about the DREAMers, and how we can coalesce around an agenda, a strategy", Espaillat told reporters following the "Moment of Truth: Where America Stands on Immigration" forum, where he announced they would be participating in a civil disobedience action.

"I understand why people want us to fight for comprehensive immigration reform".

City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito was with the House members and about a dozen protesters from the immigrant activist group Make the Road New York who sat in the street blocking traffic at Fifth Avenue at East 57th Street.
