After the much publicised meeting, the Tamil Superstar gave ample indications that he may soon join politics, but ruled out any interest in the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) saying "his colour is not saffron".

Arvind Kejriwal will meet Haasan in Chennai today at the star's Alwarpet residence.

Haasan has been very active politically of late and levying corruption charges against the state government. While reviewing the progress of development projects in unauthorised colonies, Kejriwal wanted the finance department to make sure that the nodal departments of DSIIDC and irrigation & flood control faced no financial hurdles. He also attended a grand event organised by the opposition DMK last month. He had also, earlier this year, congratulated CPI (M)-led LDF government in Kerala for "good governance" on its first anniversary. The report quoted Perumal Mani, a political analyst, who raised doubts over whether the actor's entry into politics would impact Tamil Nadu politics as anticipated.

Mr Haasan had been opposing the ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, whose political adversary DMK has voiced support for him.

During the meeting, the two were reported to have discussed ideas related to promotion of the film industry and easing the process of shooting in the national capital. If he joins politics, it won't be hard for us to discuss politics.

One AAP leader said that Kejriwal had specially flown to Chennai to have this "important meeting" with the popular actor. However, he admitted that he wouldn't enter politics in haste.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has directed the education department to study the CCTV system in schools run by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
