Trade analyst Girish Johar took to his twitter to tweet about the estimate box office collection of Daddy. On Satarday, the film earned Rs 2 crore on the second day of its release, as per a report in India Today. But on 8th September the film opened to mixed reviews with the critics disappointed with the plot and screenplay but showering praises on the lead actor/writer/producer Arjun Rampal for his power packed performance. But its opening day collection is a let-down even when compared to low-budget films like Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Bareilly Ki Barfi which had managed to collect Rs 2.71 crores and Rs 2.42 crores, respectively. However, Daddy has beaten Arjun's previous movie Rock On 2's record. This makes its collection roughly Rs 4 crore.

The movie is expected to earn more on Sunday, but it will face a hard time to sustain in theatres during the weekdays.

Daddy full HD movie has been made available on Internet just after few hours of hitting the theatres.

In Daddy, Arjun Rampal plays a gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli, who started out as a milkman in Mumbai's Saat Raasta area. Many Marathi people however like Arun Gawli a lot and all those celebrities hailing from Maharashtra are taking to social sites to heap showers on this film.

Poster Boys performed poorly in its opening weekend as the film raked in approximately Rs 7.25 crore in its three-day run at the Box Office.

Arjun Rampal's recent released political crime movie is based on a true story. The movie is about three friends who form a gang after the lockdown of textile mills in Mumbai in 1970. However, both the movies didn't do wonders at the box office, but the audience has loved both the flicks.
