3 civilians killed, 39 others hurt in grenade blast in J&K's Tral

At least three civilians, including two men and a woman, were killed and almost 30 others injured after an unspecified number of terrorists attacked a police party, hurling grenades at them.

Unknown men appeared at the bus stand in Tral town here around 11:40 and tossed a grenade towards the policemen deployed for the security of senior PDP leader and Minister Naeem Akhter, witnesses told Kashmir Dispatch.

The injured have been admitted to Sub-district Hospital Tral, Greater Kashmir reported. Seven personnel of 180 Bn CRPF have also been injured, reports said.

Summary: In a fresh indecent, over three civilians have been killed while more than 20 seriously injured after a terror attack had taken place. The dead have been identified as Ghulam Nabi Parag, Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Pinty Kour. Reports said that the condition of, at least, four of them is "critical". The injured include police and forces personnel.
