Tom Cruise Seemingly Injured During 'Mission: Impossible' 6 Stunt Jump

Mission: Impossible 6 star Tom Cruise limped away following what appears to be a stunt gone wrong.

Cruise reportedly was hurt when he failed to successfully leap from a rigging onto a building landing. In fact, Cruise was recently spotted filming some high-octane "Mission: Impossible 6" stunts in Paris, including riding a motorcycle that crashes into a vehicle and sends him flying into the air, and was also spotted parachuting from a plane in Oxfordshire.

He then pulled himself up but was clearly limping as he tried to continue the shot, falling to his knees when he got beside the camera.

Cruise is well-known for doing his own stunts in his action-packed films, and in 2015, made headlines for a particularly death-defying scene that found him hanging off the side of an airplane. He is then escorted away by crew members, still limping. We wish Tom Cruise the best, and hope he recovers quickly.

The extent of his injuries is not yet known; reps for Cruise and Paramount Pictures did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment. Cruise explained, "I was hit by a tiny particle from the runway and I literally thought it broke my ribs". The extent of his injuries are still unknown. No word yet on the accident's impact on the London-set production.
