Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee by four months.

Also, the National Convention of the party, which is its supreme organ, dissolved the leadership of the party in Adamawa, Borno, Kebbi, Ogun, Lagos, Kwara, Osun states.

‎Sule Lamido, the Party's Presidential aspirant on his own stormed the arena with several branded vehicles with his supporters amidst dancing and drumming.

He said this while speaking at the party's non-elective convention in Abuja on Saturday. "We are ready to take over and to take over the presidency", said Jonathan. While you pray for PDP to come back, we will continue to work hard to see that the sufferings today become past.

The question is, as we race to 2019 and Nigeria's defining election, will the electorate come out en masse to vote someone out or in?

"In 1960 when the Governor-General of Nigeria was handing over to the elected government of Alhaji Tafawa Balewa, one of the things he said was that the problem of Nigeria was corruption".

On the PDP's stance on fight against corruption, Akpabio said that it believed strongly in the course, adding that it was PDP's government that established the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

I must not also forget all the Nigerians who are desirous for the PDP to get its act together and play the role of a strong and vibrant opposition, which is critical for sustainable democracy in the country.

"The PDP is now a religion, a belief that we are going back to our villa. We have bounced back and ready to take over the seat of power".

"What a attractive moment this is for democracy in Africa". They can now compare and contrast. Without a viable democracy, there is no way you can have good governance.

Finally, on this day, we call on all true PDP faithfuls to return home.

"The only way the black race can have respect is for Nigeria to have a stable democracy and the only thing that shows democracy is the legislature".
