Today, Man Utd close-in on Serge Aurier....

Chelsea have a "real" possibility at competing for Paris Saint-Germain right back Serge Aurier's transfer alongside Inter Milan, according to Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in signing Aurier this summer and Solhekol has now claimed that Manchester United are keen to land the defender. And of course there's also the tricky question of a work permit, with the feisty French defender banned from entering the United Kingdom a year ago because of a conviction for assaulting a police officer outside a nightclub in Paris after he was stopped for a breath test.

He is allegedly on his way to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho aims to strengthen his defensive options.

However, it seems the Premier League champions are set for more disappointment as Goal claim Aurier is heading to Old Trafford after agreeing terms over a five-year contract. Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Ashley Young, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Axel Tuanzebe and Chris Smalling have all played, or are capable of playing at right-back for Mourinho. Last season PSG told United that Aurier was "off-limits" but they've since revised that position and the Sun says that the blocker could make his debut for United as early as Saturday week when the new season starts.

The report doesn't specify any exact details about how much the 24-year-old will earn or what United will pay PSG, they only state that Aurier is on his way to Manchester as long as he overcomes his legal issues.
