Nintendo has released a new update patch for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch console. Only one thing has been improved in this new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update. "The event is based on an actual game cartridge by Nintendo of the same name, players who participated in the first event battled it out to then to games like "Rad Racer", "#Super Mario Bros." and "Tetris".

According to reports, the Nintendo World Championship 2017 will be held on october 7 at Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom in NY. Those aged 13 and above will race on Bowser Castle 1 as Bowser with the identical cart configurations. They will also get the chance to earn My Nintendo rewards and a My Nintendo pin.

Outside of the qualifying race, gamers who attend the event can play Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch and Metroid: Samus Returns for the Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo World Championships 2017 is the third installment of the multi-game tournament; the first kicked off in 1990 and the second went down in 2015.

While it's not a massive update, it's comforting to know that Nintendo is working towards making the game a more enjoyable experience all the same.

Nintendo is bringing back its world championships with a finals tournament in New York City in October to crown the best Nintendo player in the world - as long as the player is a citizen of the US or Canada (but not Quebec).

Head over to the official site for details on what specifically will be played during qualification rounds and where you can find those events.
