Neymar is granted permission to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut against Guingamp after the relevant paperwork was submitted to the French Football Federation.

It was reported that Barcelona had delayed releasing the player's worldwide transfer certificate to the Spanish football association (RFEF), as is protocol, until they had received the required funds.

Both PSG boss Unai Emery and President Nasser Al-Khelaifi made huge plays to lure Mbappe to the French capital, travelling to Bondy to talk with both the player and his father, Wilfried - the closest thing he has to an agent.

Goal revealed on Tuesday that PSG had remained in contact with the youngster throughout their pursuit of a record-breaking deal with Barcelona.

He had to watch from the stands as his new side beat Amiens in their first match of the new season.

NAIJ.com understands that PSG have agreed a €180 million deal with Monaco for the transfer of the the 18-year-old France worldwide.

Transfers between clubs in different countries must include Fifa's worldwide transfer certificate (CIT).

"Emirates has a sponsorship contract with the French football club PSG until 2019".

Even if the certificate is received, Neymar and Barcelona need to confirm their contract has expired.

"We received the CIT and Neymar can play on Sunday", a spokesperson for the LFP said in a statement to BBC Sport.

The Ligue 1 club's €222m signing of Barcelona's Neymar has left them with little to play with in terms of transfer funds, despite the club's interest in Mbappe.
