Game of Thrones airs in the USA on HBO every Sunday where it is simulcast in the United Kingdom on Sky Atlantic at 2am. This, on the heels of last week's episode, "Beyond the Wall", which came in at 75 minutes, making it the second longest.

Add all of that on top of the fact that the next episode is titled 'The Dragon and The Wolf, ' and you've got yourself some powerful foreshadowing that we just can't ignore.

HBO on Wednesday released nine new photos from "The Dragon and the Wolf", the final episode of Game of Thrones season 7 that airs Sunday night. All the while, Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) seems as depressed as ever, likely watching everything unfold from his perch as the Three-Eyed Raven.

The most interesting thing though is not who is featured, but who doesn't make an appearance at all.

It is possible though that the episode title doesn't refer to two characters but one. Those five words appear to be a reference to both the pivotal relationship between Dany (the Targaryen dragon) and Jon Snow (the Stark wolf, or at least that's who he thinks he is), as well as Jon's status - potentially - as the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. But Jon and Cersei both have changed dramatically since that time long ago, with the already frosty tensions between Houses Stark and Lannister only freezing further in the ensuing seasons. With almost every major character converging on King's Landing, Game of Thrones' season seven finale is shaping up to be one of the show's most exciting episodes of all time.
