Netflix's 1980s ladies wrestling comedy Glow is renewed for a 10-episode second season!

"With more time given to the women the show's name is built upon, GLOW could be a real challenger in the future". The series - which will return for another ten episodes next year - premiered back in June to widespread critical acclaim and positive reception amongst casual viewers as well. Nevertheless, GLOW Season 2 is definitely happening, and while there aren't any details available, we expect the same incredible cast to return (seriously, could Betty Gilpin, Sydelle Noelle, Marc Maron, or Britney Young have been any more ideal?), and Netflix confirms that showrunners Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch will be back, along with executive producers Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann.

Kohan, who is behind one of Netflix's signature series, Orange Is the New Black, executive produces GLOW, created/executive produced by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. Starring Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin, GLOW chronicled Brie's character Ruth's life as a struggling actress who decides to get into the ring when offered a spot in the fledgling show's roster. Inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the 80s, GLOW is a Cinderella story with bodyslams. Her former best friend, ex-soap star Debbie Eagan, played by Betty Gilpin.
