Michael Tyler, better-known as the rapper Mystikal, turned himself in to the Caddo Correctional Center on Monday (August 21) afternoon, according to a report on KSLA television.

According to KSLA's sources, the warrants were issued in connection to an incident at a Shreveport casino, the date of which coincides with Mystikal's appearance in the city on the Legends of Southern Hip-Hop tour.

After being charged with aggravated rape and extortion, Mystikal served six years for sexual battery and upon his release in 2010, he was registered as a sex offender.

As previously reported, the Shreveport police secured warrants for Tyler and another man, Averweone Holman, accusing each with one count of first-degree rape.

This morning, reports flew in saying that police are searching for rapper Mystikal on rape charges.

After investigators procured the warrants for Tyler and Holman a female associate of theirs, Tenichia Wafford, 42, of Harker Heights, Texas allegedly sought the victim out in an effort to convince her to drop the charges.

However, both Mystikal and Wafford are still at large. Wafford, however, who is being charged with being an accessory after the fact, bail has been set at a much less $200,000. Bond was set at $2 million each.
