Kyrie went days without speaking to teammates in playoffs

According to a story from Bleacher Report, the Los Angeles Clippers are now at the top of his trade destination wish list. Due to that aspect, it's being reiterated by plenty of analysts that Irving really has no leverage in terms of where he might be traded to.

It now appears, however, that he has a new preferred destination and team; the Los Angeles Clippers.

"He loves L.A. and he's been working out there a lot this summer", said Vecsey. Several suitors seemed like they could land him, including the Phoenix Suns, but that seems to have taken a insane turn. "But they also have Jerry West and he's been able to figure out before ... the Lakers didn't have the assets to get Shaq and he wheeled and dealed and figured out and they got him ... he was able to get Kobe for Divac in the draft".

Kyrie Irving went on for consecutive days between the first and second round of the playoffs without talking to his teammates. The original anecdote came from ESPN's Dave McMenamin on The BBall Breakdown Podcast as he spoke about Irving's former Cavs' teammate James Jones. But when you get to the playoffs, the main thing is the main thing, and we're brothers, and we're pulling together to get this thing done.

As time goes on, more and more information will become available either through different sources or the players themselves that will reveal exactly what happened to cause the breakup between Irving and the Cavs that will eventually happen, but this is just another piece of the puzzle, a puzzle that will be quite interesting once it is completed.

"Even at that level there were still things that made him sullen or reclusive from his teammates".

Dion Waiters said he's not against the Heat trying to trade for Kyrie Irving, but added that Irving should "just know, there's an alpha male over there too in myself".

In all, not much traction has been seen on the Irving trade front, as there hasn't been much more than rumored interest and offers among teams to this point.
