'Jolly LLB 2' Actor Sitaram Panchal Passes Away

He was 54 years old and was not keeping well for a long time. "Pls help Sitaram in his time of need!"

He was diagnosed with lungs and kidney cancer in 2014 and continued taking medical treatment for it. Since acting was his only source of income, he worked between September-October past year when he was slightly better with medication, and shot for small roles in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Raag Desh and Subhash Kapoor's Jolly LLB 2.

Sitaram celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. And he was best known for his work in the 'Peepli live' movie as well as The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Pan Singh Tomar, and Slumdog Millionaire.

A relative opened up about his death by saying, "Sitaram Panchal passed away this morning". His son Rishabh had even shared a picture of the actor on his Facebook account.

The actor, Sitaram Panchal was suffering from the awful disease of Kidney and Lung cancer since last four years and his treatment had made him and his entire family go short on capital. The Facebook page for Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) had also requested for help for the actor.

Last month, he had sought help through a social media post.

In spite of receiving funds of around Rs 5 lakh, Panchal reportedly underwent Ayurvedic treatment and didn't switch over to allopathic medication. May his soul rest in peace.

We at Bollywood Hungama express our heartfelt condolences to Sitaram Panchal's family and friends. "Bhaio, meri help karo meri cancer se halat kharab hoti ja rahi hai, apka kalakar bhai Sitaram Panchal", he wrote.
