It's a first for the Premier League, as the season kicks off with a lone Friday night matchup. He doesn't want to leave and I'm happy that he wants to stay, but at some stage I opened the door for him because I knew I had many strikers.

Alexandre Lacazette scored the joint-fastest goal on the opening day of a Premier League season by heading home after 94 seconds of Arsenal's game against Leicester City.

Vardy scored just before the hour mark to make it 3-2, Aaron Ramsey rallied Arsenal with a goal seven minutes at time to make it 3-3.

What they saidArsenal manager Arsene Wenger on Giroud: "I love the man and the player because he's a fantastic guy as well, committed, he loves the club".

"His record in France is to score one in 80 minutes".

The match will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and on Sky Sports Premier League.

The Foxes were ahead twice despit Lacazette scoring just two minutes into his EPL debut, becaue as well as we played in midfield and attack the defence was shaky, with an unfamiliar trio of Holding, Monreal and Kolasinac drafted in.

The lead lasted barely three minutes before Marc Albrighton's cross from the left was headed back into the middle by Leicester's new signing Harry Maguire and Shinji Okazaki nodded the ball past flailing Arsenal keeper Petr Cech.

Leicester City were travelling along well en route to three points in the season opener after Vardy netted his second of the game to give the visitors a 3-2 lead in the second half.
