After a series of hacks, accidental leaks and social media account takeovers, the malicious hackers are back and this time they are threatening to release the season finale of GOT Season 7.

Researchers in the U.S. have uncovered why fans of the popular television show Game of Thrones are so in love with it.

With just eight (!) episodes left before Game of Thrones calls it a day, the show's network, HBO, are already looking ahead to what will fill the huge void left behind by the pop cultural phenomenon. Unfortunately, we are one episode away from the Season 7 finale. The hacker may continue to drop bits and pieces of stolen information in an attempt to generate media attention.

"However, the leak excluded spoilers about the "#Game Of Thrones" dragons since the hacked data apparently do not contain any actual "GoT" episodes.

Mashable reports that the group reached out to them and revealed what seems to be the login details of nearly every social media account that the channel operates. And also they have released more information.

Amidst all these threats, season 8 of Game of Thrones is supposed to set to resume shooting in October.

The hackers mentioned having access to several HBO platforms and sent screenshots of distorted HBO accounts with Giphy, one of which read "HB-Old is dying", reported Mashable. It is the most viewed show all over the world, so while waiting episode by episode and season by season, fans try to make it easier and funnier.
