Game of Thrones season 7 finale preview reveals epic reunion scene

The last season finale, because when season 8 ends it will be the series finale, looks to be the largest grouping of characters yet.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays on HBO. The Game of Thrones episode will clock it at 79 minutes and 43 which nearly makes it a contender for a feature-length film. Yeah, it's about to get very awkward in this season finale, with or without the Mother of Dragons.

New photos from the upcoming season seven finale, called "The Dragon and the Wolf," showcase the critical first encounter between the King in the North and the current Queen of King's Landing, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

In some of the shots, Jaime and Cersei can be seen looking particularly cold towards one another; as the latter sternly looks forward awaiting the historic meeting.

The most interesting thing though is not who is featured, but who doesn't make an appearance at all. Those five words appear to be a reference to both the pivotal relationship between Dany (the Targaryen dragon) and Jon Snow (the Stark wolf, or at least that's who he thinks he is), as well as Jon's status - potentially - as the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark.

Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is hopefully working up to some new visions, perhaps even giving us a flashback to the title characters.

For example, Phoebe as a "Daenerys Fan" tries to convince Ross (Jon Snow) that Daenerys is her "lobster", (edited from the fourteenth episode of season two of F.R.I.E.N.D.S) and hence, they are meant for each other.

What are you theories and hopes for the finale?
