"He spoke by Skype with political commentator Michael Smerconish".

For years, O'Reilly has recorded his "No Spin News" podcast in addition to his hosting gig at Fox News.

An official date for O'Reilly's appearance has not been announced, the network said yesterday.

The webcast has a similar look and feel to "The O'Reilly Factor".

Shortly after getting fired from Fox News, disgraced newsman Bill O'Reilly did what a lot of disgraced people do and started a podcast that was free from the judgmental attitudes and sexual harassment rules of traditional employers.

The two men have a history.

Subscribers were able to watch O'Reilly's show when it aired last night, though snippets from the show became available for the non-paying public earlier today.

O'Reilly has produced a daily podcast, which this video startup apparently builds upon, since he was sacked from Fox News in April in the wake of allegations of sexual harassment. On Wednesday, the show debuted a new set, an upgrade from the office where O'Reilly initially broadcast the program. The interview with Smerconish will be a part of promotional effort for the latest installment in O'Reilly's blockbuster history series, "Killing England", which will hit shelves on September 19. He typically only gives interviews to friendly outlets, such as Glenn Beck's program on "The Blaze". He made appearances on CBS, NBC and ABC a year ago.
