United snatched the Everton striker Lukaku from under the noses of Premier League rivals Chelsea in one of the summer's biggest football stories and Crespo believes that the signing of the big Belgian will give United the edge they need to claim the title. He's made history everywhere with Porto, Inter and now he can do it with Manchester United.

Morata has four league titles and two Champions League medals at the age of 24, but the Spain worldwide was not first choice for either Madrid or Juventus.

"I am happy that the club managed to do 75 per cent of the work before the Premier League starts and, if until Aug 31 the remaining 25 per cent don't arrive, I will not moan".

The 23-year-old became Mourinho's first signing back in June, signing for £31m from Benfica, and has featured as centre back in pre-season and against Real Madrid.

"We had three players as you know, one defender, one midfielder and one attacking player but for this beginning of the season we lost important players too, we lost [Marcos] Rojo, [Ashley] Young, [Luke] Shaw, Zlatan, we lost players for injuries so I think between the players we lost and we got we are in a similar situation", he said.

This year, they will have to ensure that they bring back an aura of invincibility to Old Trafford and do not drop points, especially at home.

The Portuguese added: "I want to play West Ham a hard match, then go to Swansea for another hard match". It is at the club where he became record all-time goalscorer for Manchester United and England. "I will just go with everything I have to try to win every match we play".

He's not somebody who needs to learn all about the Premier League.

Bookmakers have seen plenty of support for Lukaku in the Premier League top scorer market and he is now as short as 4-1 with many companies, but last year's victor Harry Kane remains the favorite at around the 3-1 mark. "That's my aim and at the end of the season we will see the results".

"It's not urgent, not desperate to have it done or not done", said Mourinho.

Bournemouth conceded 67 goals last season, but the arrivals of Ake and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Stamford Bridge should improve their solidity as Howe looks to build on last season's impressive ninth-place finish.

Manchester City endured a bad campaign last term but the Citizens have looked extremely good during pre-season following the many signings they have made.

Let the season get underway and we'll find out soon enough.
